Given the historical link between North American wild <em>Helianthus<\/em> diversity and European sunflower breeding, transatlantic exchanges are particularly valuable for a project like HelEx.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Nicolas Langlade (INRAE) presented how HelEx exploits wild sunflower genetic resources originating from North America to improve climate resilience and pollinator-friendly traits in European cultivars.
