In February 2026, HelEx took part in the General Assembly of ADA Occitanie, the regional association supporting beekeeping in southern France. Stan Chabert (INRAE) presented HelEx work on sunflower nectar secretion and its implications for bumble bees and honey bees. The talk provided practical information on how nectar availability varies across sunflower varieties and environments, and what this means for beekeepers who rely on sunflower honey flows.
