HelEx invited seminar at the Agadir horticultural institute

In November 2025, HelEx also delivered an invited seminar at the horticultural institute of Agadir, complementing the master course held earlier during the same visit. The seminar audience included researchers, teachers and students interested in plant breeding, agronomy and climate adaptation.

Nicolas Langlade (INRAE) presented HelEx in broader terms, from its European context to its scientific strategy and early results, with a particular focus on the links between fundamental research, phenotyping and the needs of growers in arid and semi-arid environments.

This type of invited seminar plays an important role for HelEx by creating lasting connections between European research and institutions in regions that share strong interests in climate-resilient agriculture, biodiversity and sustainable horticulture.
