This week, the HelEx consortium gathers at the Julius Kühn-Institut for its second annual meeting, hosted in Quedlinburg.

🌻 For three days, partners from all over Europe will share their latest advances, discuss challenges, and plan the next steps of our collective journey to make sunflower breeding more resilient, sustainable, and beneficial for ecosystems.

From genomics and biotechnology to biodiversity, socio-economic analysis, and stakeholder engagement, each Work Package plays a role in advancing research on climate-resilient sunflowers.

Many thanks to our hosts at JKI for their warm welcome and smooth organization.
